By the grace of RNGsus, we are given a bonus mission which may be the answer to our survivability woes.
Operation Mountain Dance comes with the 'Show of force' SITREP, which means that large numbers of ADVENT troopers are present in the area, and it so happens that it's trooper corpses we need to upgrade our armor.

This mission almost gave me PTSD.
