XCOM: Enemy Unknown puts you as the Commander of an organization called XCOM. As the commander, you are given the duty to defend against an alien invasion by managing different aspects of your base (resources technologies etc...). Along with managing your base you also need to guide your troops into battle and use different tactics against many different types of alien enemies.
