The difficulty set to Normal. Starting area is Africa. The tutorial options were disabled. The following Second Wave options were enabled:

- New Economy
- Not Created Equally
- Hidden Potential
- Training Roulette
- Save Scum
- Aiming Angles

The goal of this campaign is to attempt preventing any country from seceding from XCOM and acquiring the "Ain't No Cavalry Comin'" achievement, while finishing the entire game. So, pray to RNGesus with me!
