Let's Play: Xuan-Yuan Sword The Gate of Firmament
0Been sitting in my backlog for a bit now and after how much fun we had with Xuan-Yuan Sword 7 (still need to finish) and Sword and Fairy 7: Together Forever (now with new DLC), I wanted to check out the Xuan-Yuan sword spinoff- The Gate of Firament. It's the only other Xuan-yuan sword game to get an English translation, so OF COURSE that means I need to CONSUME IT!!! So far, the story is about the forging of the Xuan-Yuan sword during a battle between heaven and the demons, while searching for the missing princess. In the human realm, we live in a time of unbalance among the kingdoms. Seems I, a couple other members of my community, are descendants of the Yellow Emperor, therefore I must always be moving ever so often to stay safe. One day walking around the village, someone triggers a trap in the woods. We run off to find out what, my friend gets kidnapped, and I pursue her to the enemy's camp. Upon arrival, I sneak around and stumble upon Ziqiao a robust girl whose grandfather was a great sage. She helps me find my friend, who seemed to have been locked up beside a strange, possibly mute women. We get caught as we try to escape, only for the strange woman in blue to...make them vanish!? Who is she and how did she do this?
