4And with that the LP is over, Prey 2 is still in development, just delayed a shitton, which is acceptable, the original game was in development for over 11 years, and made by 3Drealms no less, you might know them from, oh, this other game called, Duke nukem 3D, that sparked around the same time.
That said, Prey, awesome game, pick it up if you ever see it for your plebian Xbox 360 system or your master race PC. An underrated game that somehow was set to get a sequel before the game even launched.
You have to forgive me for the 'Woah Nelly' reference, it was required, I'm also trying to make my let's plays alot more engaging qua comedy and commentary in general. I don't know if I'm doing a great job, but I'm pretty much looking into doing some more open to interactivitious evented games, rather than obscure PC/360 titles, namely some older Nintendo games.
Perhaps some Wii first party titles. - The thought has crossed my mind to start doing actual comedious videos and getting myself a camera... I've spoken about some things with Ryan (very little) and Matt (more openly) about doing some camera work, but, my lack of monetairy gains right now discontinues that road I'm trying to build; what I'm trying to say is that I don't have a job and leeching gold offa youtube with a useless partnership doesn't seem like a bad idea.
Problem is, that route is against my principles, I don't own the games publishing copyrights, the music, any of the texturework and using an item which you do not have full actual copyrights over is in fact, dun dun, ILLEGAL, thats why I see using videogames in a 'profit gaining situation' which is exactly what a youtube partnership is, somewhat non-kosher and youtube should seriously adress it, the only problem is that only a few companies give a fuck if their games get put into daylight, IE, Ubisoft Montreal which pretty much lunges out at anyone uploading Metro 2033 and/or Red Steel 2. And Rising Star games, better known as the counterpart X-Seed in America, not appreciating you putting up the music to games such as the wonderful Wii title: Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon
Or as I like to call it: Fragile Teens: Farewell hymen after smoking from a bong.
Other companies don't care because even bad advertising, is advertising.
Long story short: I don't appreciate youtube partners who upload video game footage and earn dolla from it.
As they simply do not have the rights to do so, as they are using other people's music, and earning money ontop of it.
Simularily I use game music in my update videos to work around youtube's copyright system, and pitch shifting in songs too.
I appreciate people who make serious, sincere reviews or people who are trying to pursue an Internet comedian route.
Anything with a point to it, uploading video game footage is simple to do, creating a serious review of a game is a whole 'nother task.
Fuck the system, and fuck youtube partner LPers, because some people apparently
openly grief about how they're not earning enough money on their videos, when they should be doing this
for the sake of making these games everlasting.
I've spent over 150 hours in recording one certain game just so I can show you guys all of it, to make it everlasting.
Apparently some people want to make a quick buck, and to you I say: Go suck a Metroid's electric tentacle. We the people of the Internet, or atleast some of us with an intact cranium know what the fuck you're up to.
