I've played games before where some places had the chance of random encounters while others didn't. This is not one of the games that handled that particularly well. I get aggravated dealing with the set orange balls and I get aggravated with the random encounters, but I get most aggravated when it changes over. Still, it does give a limited area one can go to grind levels if one is finding a particular battle hard to get past.
