I kind of feel like there's a small plot hole with us having heard a bit of the song and he's supposed to kill everyone that heard it. But I guess the devil humming it doesn't count as us hearing it?

Also... I know they're evil monstrosities... but I do feel bad for the displacer beast.

Displacer beasts appearing in a campaign and being unceremoniously killed by some circumstances has happened to me before... like the comic says if I had a nickle for every time, I'd have two nickles, but it's weird it happened twice.
