The new game+ thing with stuff like this or Titan Quest where you're just doing the exact same story from beginning to end sort of bothers me because it seems silly. It's less of a problem here though, mostly due to the aesthetic, because while the mechanics of this game would really not work on a tabletop game (too many timers to easily keep track of) I can still see a wargamer repeating scenarios they like or just grinding for XP. Otherwise, I tend to assume that new game+ with increased difficulty is someone telling the story of what happened and exaggerating at points.
