We begin our journey in Baldur's Gate 2 with more questions than answers. I have awoken in a strange cell, captured by a mage who has tortured me, speaking of untapped power. I remember little of what came before. Here, in the darkness, I am granted a reprieve as unknown assailants have attacked the mage who has been holding me captive!

My friend Imoen has appeared, and released me from my cell. We find ourselves locked away with Jaheira and Minsc, our traveling companions from the Sword Coast, with whom we faced Sarevok. Together, we escape our cells and find rudimentary equipment. From here, we must gather our party to venture forth, and escape this prison.

The adventures of Renfail the elven mage continue in the Forgotten Realms as we explore Baldur's Gate II - The Shadows of Amn. We're replaying the game via the enhanced edition, so follow along as we seek our destiny.
