When I first played this game, years before I did my let’s play of it, I was blown away by how pretty the world looked. I was amazed by how the cutscenes were all done in-engine and that the computer screens looked like little CGI movies that you could interact with. While I can now see the very polygonal nature of the models for the people and my surroundings, to this day I’m still impressed with how they did the computer screens. I also like how the PDA system works, allowing you to listen to audio logs while you explore about.

Praise aside, it’s time to go and seek out the missing scientist who couldn’t possibly be trying to get out a desperate message to warn the UAC and Earth of impeding disaster. We’re certainly not going to be stranded in a disused part of the UAC facility, under equipped and unprepared for the terrible horrors that are about to unleashed.
