This is our first attempt at a Speedrun since 2021, and this time I joined Speedrun.com so that I can learn the rules of the start and stop times for the game. This is my first official run following the Speedrun rules, and I still ended up beating my best time from attempt #2. I followed my plan back in 2021, by systematically collecting the shines from each island first before moving on. Though I've learned that the best strategy to beating this time is NOT to do this, it's to be a little more sporadic and going to different islands when necessary.
