A few weeks ago, I streamed myself playing through Hotline Miami in order to explain the game's story the best I could. Now let's do this again with... the sequel!

Released 2 years after Hotline Miami, HM2 gives out a story that builds on and explains the events of the first game and allows you to play as a giant cast of characters with all of their different play styles. The downside is that level design generally makes gameplay much more calculated and slow-paced, as rushing through will likely get you killed. It also starts out very hard and implies you have played the predecessor.

I still like this game a bunch, but it's definitely more flawed than Hotline Miami 1. At least you can't fault this game of not trying.
