Let's Stream Heavy Rain (Blind) #3: Justice, Injustice, Agoraphobia, Good, Bad, Happy, and Sad
Viewer discretion advised.
Ethan finds himself at the last trial. The moment of rescue for his son is nigh. But Ethan ends up blundering it all in the heat of the moment. At the last moment, he fails at finding his son, and what follows is a domino effect of negativity, which culminates with Ethan killing himself over Shaun's grave, unable to live with the fact that he failed to save both of his sons' lives. Special Agent Norman Jayden gets so close to figuring out who the Origami killer is, but through all his technology and clues, he overlooks the answer right in front of his face, and he ends up giving up. He then goes back to using the Triptocaine, which ends up taking his life in the end. Madison Paige manages to escape from The Origami Killer, who tried to burn her in his house. But she wasn't able to find anything that would lead her or anyone to Shaun's whereabouts. After Ethan loses Shaun, she tries to help him find his will to continue with her, but to no avail, as she witnesses him blowing his brain out in the cemetery over his son's grave. And Private Investigator Scott Shelby has a few skeletons in his closet that fall out. He tries to kill Madison and fails. He reminisces over the loss of his brother, John, and laments the fact that his alcoholic father was unable to save him. And he ends up getting rid of all evidence that he has collected from his hunt of The Origami Killer. And the Origami Killer? Well, he ends up getting away, Scott free. And Ethan, Norman Jayden, and Shaun all die.
Not satisfied with that ending, I retrace my steps and try to find a better ending. After confronting The Origami Killer's final trial, Ethan clears his head and looks at other clues he had before. Because killing himself to save Shaun is absolutely out of the question. Thankfully, he is able to work out where Shaun is and goes to rescue him, only to be confronted by The Origami Killer himself. Madison Paige goes to Scott Shelby's house to see what she can see. She ends up excavating his skeletons and nearly dies in the process. She also works out where Shaun is located and calls Special Agent Norman Jayden, whom has also worked out where Shaun is at. Together, she, Norman, and Ethan race to The Origami Killer's hideout to rescue Shaun. Norman Jayden dukes it out with The Origami Killer and ends up killing him after trying to save him. He is heralded as one of the greatest detectives and totally gives up Triptocaine after having an interview on TV. But he seems to be exhibiting withdrawal symptoms, in the form of hallucinations. And Scott Shelby's true self is revealed, and why he is the way he is. He ends up fighting with Norman Jayden, who tried to save him. However, he ended up once again fighting Norman, and ends up falling into a grinder.
To end it off, Ethan confronts his agoraphobia at Lexington Station, and ends up knocking inanimate people down.
Thanks to all of you who came to this stream. I had a lot of fun with it, and found the game most enjoyable. I will be back with a second playthrough, where I show off some of the other things I didn't do.
Thanks for watching. Have a great day. Keep it real.
