0After a sound trip to 2074, following the end of Virtue's Last Reward, Sigma went back in the present, in 2029, to witness the end of mankind. A proof that his older self, Zero, failed to prevent the release of Radical-6.
Young Sigma, with the help of Akane, set to recreate the events of the AB Project so that he would be sent back in time himself to 2028. After 45 years of preparations and setups, the now 67 years old Sigma is sent back to 2028 to prevent the release of Radical-6. With Akane, Junpei & Phi, they infiltrate the Mars Simulation Test Site only to find Junpei & 3 other peoples.
Sigma, knowing what happens later on, warns everyone of the possible outcomes. But nobody believes him. Phi & Akane don't think it's a good idea to tell them straight away what is going to happen, not to mention thet won't believe him.
On his side, Junpei is pretty salty with Akane since the latter won't talk to him. He seemes to have changed greatly since the events of 999 during the past year.
After 5 days in the Mars Test Simulation Site, in the Nevada Desert, the 31 December 2028, Sigma didn't find how the virus escaped and the time of the supposed released draws near ... When someone knocks everyone with sleeping gas.
Sigma, Phi, Diana, Junpei, Akane, Carlos, Q, Eric & Mira. They all wake up in cells, separated in Teams of 3 peoples with some sorts of bangles on their left arms.
Someone named Zero appears, and tell them they will going to play a game. A game that will decide the fate of mankind.
