The controversial launch of Diablo Immortal has initiated a discussion on mobile game design and how it's pr*datory pay to win practices should not be the standard. What are your thoughts on this? Personally I believe it is pretty clear that the execs at Blizzard have no regard for doing the right thing or being good people, they seem to look at things purely from a standpoint of milking things for their own benefit and their own pleasure. Launching such a soul-sucking p2w mobile game right after being exposed for some sick twisted s*xually-abusive habits they have toward their own employees is not the power move they think it is. All of this and now Diablo Immortal employees whining on Facebook about how the game is not pay to win, or promoting the idea that it's not p2w makes no sense and is only digging the hole deeper. I hope Blizzard smartens up and tries to rectify some of the wasteland that is their Diablo Immortal experience.
