Helldivers 2's upcoming update, "Escalation of Freedom," launches on August 6. This major update introduces new enemies, mission objectives, and a new difficulty level, CR 10: Super Helldive. Players will face supersized bot fortresses, Impalers, Spore Chargers, and the Terminid Alpha Commander. Swamp environments are also enhanced with rolling fog and dangerous flora. Quality-of-life improvements include changes to reduce grief kicking and enhancements to the social menu. The update aims to deliver greater variety and challenge for both new and veteran players.
