Let's Try Episode 03 Bit.Trip Runner
0On this episode of Let's Try I decided to play Bit.Trip Runner. Part of the reason I decided to play this even though I owned the game for a couple of years and never bothered with it, is because of the Steam Cards.
I am a sucker for unlockables.
I really enjoyed the simplicity and complexity of this title. It is an endless runner type but the pixel sprite mixed with 3D backdrops, obstacles, and enemies makes it stand out. The music also has to be mentioned. I am not sure if the music is activated via collecting the items, jumping, sliding, and avoiding all dangers; but the music is extremely whimsical and relaxing to listen to.
Anyways this is gameplay footage of me playing through the first few levels of world 1 as well as the bonus levels based off of Pitfall.
