3๐ง Welcome to our blind let's play Final Fantasy XI Part 3 for the PC: The OG Final Fantasy MMORPG. I did play XIV Reborn when it came out to level 50 then stopped, but only played (watched?) my old room mate play for about 10 minutes. Don't remember anything about this or how it functions. This will NOT be a complete let's play. I just intend on showing it off to see what this blast from the (not-so-distant) pastis all about. Expect a couple of streams, at most? It is the 884th year of the Crystal Era, twenty years after the end of the Crystal War that ravaged Vana'diel. The three main nations of Vana'diel, San d'Oria, Bastok and Windurst continue their struggle against the Beastmen who, although less organized, have regrouped and still terrorize the land. Rather than dispatching their own forces to deal with this threat, the nations of Vana'diel begin to employ adventurers to handle them as well as other minor tasks. The player is one such adventurer.

I Rule Hyrule recommends: I bought the Steam copy only so it was on my list. I play through the old school method outside of steam via POL. I have bee playing FF11 since 2004 and still play to this day, in 2025. I have played damn near every major MMO there is, and none of them live up to this one.
Nicholas recommends: One of the most deep, complex, and challenging games you can ever play. It's clearly showing its age now as much of the tech and game design can feel extremely outdated, but for those that enjoy problem solving, tactical combat, and the world of Final Fantasy there is still something great here.
