Flinthook is a fast action-platformer with "roguelike" elements by Canadian indie-developer Tribute Games. You play a space pirate and jump, use your hookshot, pistol, slowmo powers and subweapons like bombs. The controls work amazing and you get a real fast paced, good flow.
As you board ships and fight foes you level up, find relics and much more. There are a daily and a weekly challenge, too. The ships you board vary, so sometimes you have to fight a bit more, sometimes it's a bit like a Metroidvania.
In my video I show you a good hour of my initial gameplay. Unfortunately I set the game volume a tad to high. I hope you can enjoy the video nevertheless.
