Let's Try Musya (SNES)
1One of the strangest SNES experiences of my life. I remember renting this one ages ago from the local video store. When I got home I was so amazingly underwhelmed by it. Nothing was out of the ordinary, just an average early 16-bit action platformer with average at best graphics and music...
But something seemed eerie about it, an almost horror style atmosphere surrounded it. I brushed it off as an ok game and returned it.
Weeks later I wanted to take another stab at it but the lady at the rental shop said the cartridge stopped working and they returned it, but never got a replacement. I've legit NEVER played it since, and after many many years went by I forgot all about the game.
I couldn't remember the name, I couldn't remember much, other than the odd sounds it made when you attacked and how the game's sound effects seemed "off"... Well, fast forward 100 years to 2024 and BOOM! I found someone on twitch playing a selection of great 16-bit horror games and this one popped up! So guess what? We're playing it!!
