Let's Try Thunder Edge (SAGE 2025 Demo)
2Here's my Let's Try of the SAGE 2025 demo of Thunder Edge (PC), a fast-paced 2D action platformer, in development by Sapphire Flame Games. This is directly inspired by MMX, MM Zero, and Sonic.
Despite the awesome core gameplay loop, the level design conflicts with it. Some refinments of the latter, especially in the early-game, are necessary.
SHORT DESCRIPTION: "Thunder Edge is a high-voltage action platformer inspired by console classics of the 80s and 90s, starring a flashy, electric superheroine in her quest to save the world.
Travel to the distant future of 1989, where humans, aliens and robots have united to create a utopian society on planet Earth. However, the vile New Age Pantheon, led by Professor Mercury and his army of powerful supervillains, have started their bid for complete world domination, backed by Mercury's vast robot army! Unsheathe your twin blades and harness the raw power of electricity as the mighty superheroine Thunder Edge, and take these villains down! In your quest, you'll learn new, flashier ways to unleash all that electricity you build up in your battles! (Though, this demo only has three special moves. They're still very cool, trust me.)"
