Well, you asked for it, and you got it: my first Let's Write! Sorry if my commentary here was kind of boring; this is my first time doing audio commentary, so hopefully I'll improve in the future. I hope you enjoy watching this, because I sure enjoyed making it. :^)
I normally spend a little more time writing these pieces but I didn't want the video to drag on for too long.

The samples used in this video come from a custom set. Most of them are ripped from my YAMAHA keyboard and downsampled. I ended up setting my own loop points and altering a lot of the samples to make them sound SNESish. Some of the instruments were made in Sytrus, then downsampled, etc. The whole process ended up taking several hours, but it was worth it. I'm proud to have my very own "k3font" to make retro music with.
