Letts Plays Mass Effect Part 25 (UNC: Geth Incursions Part 3, Rachni Listening Post)
0Letts Plays Mass Effect again! In Part 25 We take down the Geth Main Base. Our main opposition is so defense towers on the outside that provide good cover (I complain about the) and Geth destroyers on the inside (I make use of cover to avoid dying). Then we go planet looting as usual.
Femshep now has so many Asari Martiarch's Writings she could open her own library!
We land on Altahe where there is a listening post and take Garrus and Liara on the 'away team'.
The post is infested with Rachni. On furthur invetigation we discover that the investation originated from a shipment delivered from Argos Rho. We also recieve a distress call from another listening post along the chain from Lieutenant Durand.
Femshep takes Ashley and Liara to land on Nepmos where we find Lieutenant Durand in a ring of giant guns fending off Rachni. But their defenses have been damaged so we have to acta s reinforcements for them and help them defend against the rachni. Fortunately renegade femshep really really likes killing things so when she has finished killing Rachni she asks for more things to shoot and is told there is a Rachni nest. She says her mission is more important buuuut oooo killing. Yeah, she can't resist a good slaughter so that nest is dead. When she goes back to get a reward for a job well done however there is nothing. Nadda. :(
I remember that Tali was kinda interested in that Geth data we got from their big base so go to see her. She is. I decide to give it to her.
Femshep chats to Wrex about an old battle against an Asari commander.
Admiral Hacket contacts me about Major Kyle/Father Kyle who has a following of Biotics. He's someone Femshep served under. The alliance don't want it to turn into a massacre. And they are trusting renegade Femsheps judgement... :S
Ashley, Liara and Femshep land on the moon of Presrop and approach the Biotic compound. This mission is quite personal to Shepard.
