Letts Plays Mass Effect Part 26 (Biotic Compound / Ilos: Find the Conduit)
0Letts Plays Mass Effect again! In Part 26 FemShep arrives at the Biotic Compound controlled by her former commander Major/Father Kyle. She is not the most diplomatic and when they refuse to let her in to see him she breaks in and shoots them all. I then spend a lot of time running around an apparently empty compound unable to find the Major! He's quite elusive but I do eventually find where he is and persuade him to surrender to me.
I decide to polish up a small mission and deliver smuggled goods on Noveria. FemShep intimidates the merchant to get more money.
There are a few minor things I decide not to do in preference of persuing to main mission of stopping Saren on Ilos.
Liara comes to visit FemShep in her quarters and a blurry, sexy love scene plays out between the two that Liara describes as 'incredible.' FemShep is ready for round 2 but Joker cockblocks her.
I take Liara and Ashley for my kick-ass all girl team for the final mission. Saren looks scared as we approach and locks himself inside a bunker as Ashley shouts "Kill them all!"
We then have to work our way around a bit of a maze in order to find our way inside the bunker fighting Geth all the way.
Eventually we make our way though and, after listening to another Prothean Beacon, open the door which allows us to pursue Saren in the Mako towards to Conduit. But it's a trap! A barrier goes up blocking our way and the only way to go is down in a lift. But the trap was not placed by Saren.
We are led to a Prothean VI called Vigil who tells us that the Citadel is an enormous Mass relay to bring the Reapers into our Galaxy from Dark Space. The Conduit is a back door into the Citadel. The Protheans had almost completed a programme to disable the Citadels Mass relay and vigil gives this programme to Shepard. Now it is a race to get through the Conduit before Saren can activate it and let the Reapers through. The entire route is guarded by Geth Juggernauts and Colossi.
As the Conduit is about to close we drive through it.
