Both of these exploits the intended softlock prevention that flew Xed to his last updated spot.
For the first one, it's simple. The pillar from where the first LCC is located does not update Xed's position, so if you position yourself in front of the pillar, go behind it in a straight line, and intentionally jump onto the pillar to make him fly to his last updated spot, you can grab the LCC on his way, skipping generating the platforms.
The second one, you hope that the extractor enemy perished next to the edge of the island (as it also doesn't update the position), so when you grab the blue genergy, you can simply take a dip into the water, and zip back across, skipping regenerating the three moving platforms.
