so. i started this layout on the same day i started and finished and uploaded my 'back together' video, as i was going through a lot that day. needless to say, this is a very special video for me to finish and upload
a 6 minute layout of mostly slowest speed gameplay was, conceptually, a god damn insane idea for me to even try, but the emotions this song makes me feel made me keep thinking about attempting to do it. glad i did cause i think i pulled it off better than i couldve ever expected
proud of every little gimmick i did in this, like the creative dual usage at start and end, the 2nd part and it being referenced later, and the whole section with lyrics looking exactly how it looked like in my head (and especially the 'glitch' transition), i hope the effort is noticeable
btw the transition into the fast part is basically straight up stolen from jayum's we respawn layout which is an early 2.2 goat layout that i keep copying lol
also if the last part looks a bit off i will just say i dont know anything about music or piano so i tried my best to make something that makes sense with both cubes lmao at least it looks how i thought of it in my head
and also lexycat's new album came out a couple days ago and it's just as amazing as dark blossom was, so dont be too surprised if i keep posting lexycat layouts now as there's definitely a couple songs from there that have caught my attention for gd purposes xd
disclaimer i dont actually want to light fireworks with anyone's blood but let me be edgy and vent emotions for 6 minutes thanks
in a way, i personally needed to finish this video to move on. now, i'm finally free, and we get to enjoy a layout from it. i hope you think it's good
