After some months I wanted to revisit this situation to see if anything has changed. Today I decided to connect my PS5 console directly to a PC connected capture card, just to see if there was some kind of a restriction directly going into the TV, nope. Seems this feature, for console gaming at least, is locked at whatever the menu FPS setting is. If you have any information please fill me in.
