This video marks the debut of Overgrow, which is a boost to Grass type moves when Ivysaur's HP is below 1/3 of its max. Also, Level 18 is so I can 1 shot Colton's Pokémon.
The Mandatory Trainers in Mt Moon, a Rocket Grunt and Super Nerd Miguel, are cleared in 2 and 5 turns respectively.
UNITS:
Gyarados - That one guy in the Pokecenter knew what he was selling, but at such a bargain? I guess he wanted to write it off on his taxes as charity. Gyarados is strong, but a lack of physical STAB makes this a short-term mon.
STRATEGY:
Shift mode saves turns because I could switch in Ivysaur or Gyara when needed.
Misty is cleared in 2 turns.
STRATEGY:
I need Ivysaur to have enough EXP so when he levels up after 1 shotting Staryu he learns Razor Leaf. This allows me to 1 shot Starmie.
