In light of not having the Ultra rare card and Panda from this week's event, defeating high level bosses can be a little more difficult. I am running a few different decks with the goal of getting as much damage as I can, and thought I'd share it with you.

I did invest in an additional relic from a VIP pack, to help with initial board, and then bought the guaranteed Flying Lotus, so the total investment here is 3k gems. This could still be more than what most are willing to spend, but hopefully the decks I'm showing are viable for you as well.
