Dusting off the mind's cobwebs and relearning how to play SMAC. This game isn't much of a challenge; indeed, contrary to my memory, everything *ain't* equal on Talent difficulty.

SMAC is a 4X video game developed by fledgling Firaxis Games and released in 1999. The game builds off Civ2 into science fiction where seven factions vie for supremacy on a new world. I bought it during a trip with my Dad and played it on his work laptop. It's been a part of me ever since.
