Liberating a TI calculator locked to a PC-100 printer/security cradle

You can sometimes find TI calculator printers (PC-100x) paired with a TI calculator on ebay ... with no keys. Not a problem! The lock is very simple and can be easily defeated using a lock picking rake and a flathead screwdriver for tensioning (a normal wiper insert won't fit).

This pairing is a PC-100A with Aussie 240V power supply and TI-59 calculator. I also have a PC-100C with US 110V power supply that was coupled with another calculator (can't remember which model).

I believe the compartment is where you'd store the battery pack whilst the calculator was on the printer cradle, the battery charging also. But no battery this time.

It appears that there were four revisions of the printer cradle:
The original PC-100, then the PC-100A (when the TI-58/59 was released), PC-100B (short lived) and the PC-100C.
