Library of Ruina, How To Farm/Beat Xiao Consistently (Build/General strat In Description) R5 Build
16In a small Toaru Discord channel, there is a smaller group of Dedicated project moon fans using their general chat to livestream said games. Xiao, The main roadblock for most players in Star of the City and if not that a pain in the butt to farm. The 2 biggest problems in this fight is it's broken up into 2 acts so you need to reset the momentum in order to start laying the smackdown on Xiao and for some nuggets, they won't have a good start on turn 2 and be mostly dead weight. The second problem is Xiao will nullify all power every odd turn. Now this would be fine if it included her as well which it doesn't. Any Strength build you come up with will be destroyed on odd turns and status are reduced by half on her and she has a massive stagger bar. Plus any burn someone has will pass on when a nugget dies and will inflict stagger damage by half of that each turn.
Now the guide were going to get through the first act somewhat quickly. Were going to use 4 opening shots gunmen on Miris to get him out of the way and slow down the fight massively. For the purple tear, were switching to guard stance for 2 reasons. 1 we don't accidently kill Xiao early and start the 2nd act to soon so we can maximize the emotion level on Purple Tear. 2 Keeps the purple tear alive and in a nice and healthy state since she's going in solo for the 2nd part. Once Xiao is finished in act, were just putting in purple tear for act 2. Since she's at 5 emotion level (or 4 in my case) you will unlock all the remaining abnormalities pages at the start of next turn. For the first turn you can pass or in my case needed a bit more emotions points will do some clashes with low cost pages. At the start of next turn its time to go all out and stagger her on turn 2. With dark flame taken, all her resistances are fatal and she isn't nullifying power this turn. Were switching to blunt stances for more damage and applying that stance's effect of increasing the stagger damage that is dished out. Solemn lament will put her stagger to zero so you can apply smoke afterwards to increase the damage even more and get the damage needed to kill her by turn 4.
