Libretro Cores Quick Look - Kronos - Mega Man X4 (Improved Mesh Option)
74The new Kronos core (Sega Saturn emulator) has an improved renderer and new graphics features to boot! There's a new core option called 'Improved Mesh' - enabling this can make half-transparent meshes appear truly transparent instead.
In this video, you can see the difference - instead of a half dot patterned shadow (the so-called 'mesh' that we referred to earlier), enabling the 'Improved Mesh' makes the transparent shadows look more convincing as a PlayStation or Nintendo 64 would be capable of rendering them.
