LIFE FORCE IS MINOR CHANGE VERSION OF SALAMANDER.
- Game play -
game play is same as gradius. HOWEVER IN THIS GAME THERE ARE 2 TYPE OF STAGE. FIRST ONE IS SAME AS GRADIUS. SECOND ONE IS TOP VIEW STAGE.
SIDE SCROLL STAGE IS 1,3,5 TOP VIEW STAGE IS 2,4,5.
ALSO IN SALAMANDER GET THE POWER ITEM CAN POWER UP INSTANTLY. IN THIS GAME THERE IS POWER METER.
THE POWER METER IS DIFFERENT 1P OR 2P.
1p: speed up - missile - pulse - laser - option(multiple) - ?
2p: missile - laser - option(multiple) - pulse - speed up - ?
"power up instruction"
1. speed up: increase player speed
2. missile: equip twin missile, in top view stage missile become triple missile which attack ground enemy
3. pulse: new weapon. make big wide ring.
4. laser: same as gradius. penetrate one hit kill enemy
(3. 4 cannot used at the same time.)
5. option(multiple): copy player power and speed.
can equip up to 4.
however in co op both player can't equip option(multiple) 4 each other. it's
6. ?: protect enemy bullet and enemy. it can equip up to 4.
for some reason the front taking damage when player get power item in front.
