the darius burst was made in 2009 for only PSP DEVELOPED by pyramid junichi kashiwagi (director) and DISTRIBUTED by taito.

IT'S HORIZONTAL SHOOTER.
BUT DARIUS BURST HAS PORTED ARCADE

IN 2010 WITH chronicle mode, AND NEW STAGE original mode.

in 2011 this game has updated with EX VERSION WITH
ORIGINAL EX MODE AND EVENT MODE.
however in event mode there some reason i can't access it so this one is pass.



- Game play -
The game play is same as Psp version. this time it add backturn so player can attack back enemy by press backturn button.

- Basic

1. Main Shot.
Player can fire bullet by shot button.
Some shot can destroy enemy bullet.
To power up get red orb to increase power.
collect each 5 red orb player weapon will be changed. can power up up to 14

2. Bomb
It's sub weapon.
To power up the bomb get green orb.
Collect 5 orb the bomb will power up.

3. arms
shield. Player can protect by 3 time except wall
Player can even accumulate arm count by get blue orb.
The arm has power up too.
collect 5 blue orb arm become sliver. get orb while have sliver arm can accumulate arm count by 2. got another 5 blue orb sliver arm become gold arm.
The gold arm can accumulate arm count by 3 Also can protect wall hit.

4. Burst shot. (Some ship can't use burst)
This is new system for new darius game.
the burst can erase every enemy bullets or laser(except bean or some laser)
using this also earn more score than just kill it with main shot.
can't use this if gauge is low.
To charge the gauge hit the enemy or use the burst to some laser.
also if enemy fire pink laser player can counter it by burst shot.
When this happen burst make more score and lower the cost of burst shot.

1. Mode select with entry option

in arcade version when player enter the original or ex mode can select default entry or infinite entry.

- default entry: play the game with limited life.
Player can also play dual play with 1 coin. however player share life.

ex: if there is 3 life player can enter 2 players with remain life 1.
if there is 3 life player can enter 3 players with remain life 0.

- infinite entry: play game with infinite life

after select entry player can select 3 course.
Player can only play 3 stages of total 12 stages.
ex mode is much harder.


2. chronicle mode
the chronicle mode has 7 levels with more course.
however player can't change route even if clear the stage.
Also in every course player can only select 2 specific ships and there is some specific rules exist like 1 credits run or fixed item.
