The stage begins with spinning ships throwing crystals. Stalagmite hatches will release ghost capsules, so take them out whenever you can. Purple asteroid cannot be destroyed, so dodge what you possibly can. After some ground and ceiling cannons, swarms of winged ships will appear. Pipes on a big asteroid will release winged ships, so destroy those pipes. After a horde of winged ships sneak behind you, stalagmites will begin falling, so stay focused. Once you go far, you’ll take on 3 medium ships. Each ship will shoot cannonballs. Defeat all 3 medium ships and you’ll enter the ruins, where pipes release cannonballs. Some pillars lunge back and forth, so focus your timing to get past them. After shooting down blocks by walls and seeing numerous enemies, the ruins will begin to collapse, so dodge the bricks falling from above. The next boss is a sphinx. The sphinx has golden orbs surrounding it to block attacks, and its weak point is its eyes. Dodge oncoming fireballs and keep shooting at the eyes until the sphinx is defeated to complete the stage.
