We are emotional irrational beings. We like to think we are logical and immune to emotional influence, but every choice we make is driven by some emotion. We're either pursuing an emotion we want, or avoiding an emotion we don't want. But there's a way to control it, and it's not logic.

The purpose of school is to teach you to the basic skills to work in a factory and then babysit you until you're old enough to do so. If you feel like you weren't prepared for what life is throwing at you, you probably weren't, and it's not your fault. If school is going to let us down, we need to be the master's of our education. I know you can do it, because you are smarter than you think.
