I have intentionally left the licenced music on which inevitably gains me copyright claims. This hypothetically prevents me from receiving monetisation for the video, were I receiving any (that’d be nice!). The music is such a mood setter and part of the character of all Life is Strange games that I feel it would be doing it an injustice to turn it off or switch it for some generic YouTube audio library music in its place. I want to present the game to you to to enjoy in its complete form and unspoilt. (You’d think the companies would appreciate that honestly.)
In the same spirit as the music remaining intact, the gameplay is also unedited save for a couple of minor (virtually undetectable) moments where I paused the gameplay for breaks, and a moment about 36 minutes in where I paused to correct the overscan, which I accidentally had enabled on my Elgato HD60 Game Capture. It has no commentary interruptions, neither do I include any onscreen text remarks, which I occasionally add to some of my other videos, so as not to break the mood.
Life is Strange in general is not a very demanding game skill wise, it is more of an interactive TV show. It is more of a mood piece which plays on its still revels in its still contemplative moments as much as the more active ones, as I say the music is a major factor of it. It is certainly a good chill out game and one where you really engage with the characters. I think they’ve done a good job of establishing a new setting and cast of characters, principally Sean and Daniel. There is an obviously political element to it which reflects the difficult political climate in the USA (I’m fortunate to be living in the UK and away from it directly affecting me.) The actions of the police officer shooting dead the boys father for effectively no reason other than he is of Mexican origin should be shocking, well it definitely is, but I know that it is also unfortunately all too representative of the real world for people such as the Diaz’s.

Story synopsis
The story of Life is Strange 2 follows the two Diaz brothers, Sean and Daniel, ages 16 and 9, respectively, on their journey from Seattle, USA to their father's home town of Puerto Lobos, Mexico. Their journey begins after the sudden death of their father, Esteban Diaz, age 45, who was killed by a police officer on October 28, 2016, after an incident with Sean, Daniel, and the neighbour’s son escalates. When Esteban is fatally shot, Daniel screams and a shockwave occurs, knocking the two brothers unconscious. When Sean awakens, he notices the dead police officer on the ground and hastily picks up Daniel, fleeing the scene in frantic state.
