Lifeforce | Codename Tenka (PS1) gameplay 4K 60FPS in Duckstation emulator
7Depending on the region, this game was called either Codename or Lifeforce Tenka. It's one of the lesser known FPS shooters developed by Psygnosis for original PlayStation and PC in the year 1997.
It might look stylish and all, but gameplay is very clunky. That's why you can see me struggle to strife or look up/down. Many of the FPS games of the era were already getting good and responsive gameplay and gunplay due to ID tech engine licencing, but Tenka was not one of those games.
But if you are at lookout for some obscure shooter from the nineties, Tenka might be the game for you. It's not Doom or Quake, but I guess it's fine for what it is (just a product of the period).
