The Lightning Collection role-play items continue with the Power Morpher from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The Legacy version from Bandai America featured a lot of diecast metal and was more of a prop, whereas this Lightning Collection version is made of a cheaper material, but has more toy functions. For one, this one has lights that change to the corresponding colors when the Power Coins are inserted. There are also corresponding voice clips from the Power Rangers, which is neat, except for the fact that they say the dinosaur name after you've already pushed the button and opened the morpher. There's no way to just morph without the voice clip either. The included stand is nice to have. All in all, whether you prefer this or the Legacy version will depend on your needs. While I do like the colored lights and voice clips from the show, I think I still prefer the Legacy version overall.
