Thank fuck it's over. And, well, I SAY that... but this kind of insane spinoff seems almost nonexistent these days, almost a product of its time. Like, the new game coming out in February has pirate shit going on, but it's still gonna be rooted in the canon of everything else, while this game gets to do some stuff that it wouldn't get to do otherwise, because it was considered noncanon from the get go.
