Lily James shared two images on her instagram from the set of her upcoming film Cliffhanger. The images are taken at the mountains of Austria. James Collet-Serra will be directing the reboot of the original which starred Sylvester Stallone in the lead role in 1993. Sylvester was originally cast last year, but exited the project.
The Cliffhanger reboot centres on mountaineer Ray Cooper, played by Pierce Brosnan, who runs a chalet with his daughter in the Dolomites, a mountain range in Italy. When the pair are kidnapped, older daughter Naomi, played by Lily James, still dealing with trauma from a previous climbing incident, must overcome her past to save her family.
The film is in production, and a release date has not been revealed.
