Limax.io Team Mode is quite good in the sense that you don't get pushed by other teammates or crash into your teammates' traps. A lot of mass exchanging happens because Team servers are usually very hostile, more so than Kill servers. This fits into my solo-esque style of play that I've often done in Agar.io and Diep.io, but it's very easy to join the dominant team. You can have 20 players on one team, and only 1-3 on the rest. It's not always cool.

If you have trouble differentiating the colours on certain backgrounds, I request using the "Space" background (the background I use in this video), because all colours are easy to differentiate.
