Widow Mines are not the best choice here, because the liberators naturally clump up near our stuff, while the brood lords + infestors provide free bait for the mines if they aren't all manually controlled (not feasible at a human level). These together lead to not only many wasted mine shots, but also a considerable amount of splash damage on the main fighting units here - the liberator/raven clump. This engagement could theoretically still be won with proper teamwork and use of raven abilities, but the complete wipe lead to an easy secure on the enemy CC.
