Looking at the various GNU Text Viewers available in the Linux terminal: Cat, More, Less, Head, Tail, Grep, Od.

Cat is a basic viewer and can also concatenate files together
More & Less allow navigating through large document or process output
Head & Tail can be used to view log files
Grep is used to find text
Od (Octal Dump) is used to examine binary files
