Recommended programs to install on HomeBrew:
- mc
- htop
- unrar
- nmap
- gedit

Syntax: brew install [package name]

Interesting system locations on Mac:
/opt/X11/bin - This contains the list of X Window System applications
/opt/local/bin - MacPorts Binary directory
/usr/local/Cellar/ - Brew installation directory ("brew --cellar" command to check the location)

Opening files using TextEdit.app:
open -a TextEdit [name of the file]
