Lion King - Everything the light touches, belongs to Disney #1
19The new Lion King movie from Disney came out recently and so it got us a little bit in the mood to play a game about the Lion King. We thought there was no better game than the Super Nintendo (SNES) version of Disney's Lion King. We are playing this on the Super Nintendo Classic Mini (SNES Classic Mini) as it is one of the games that came on it, and for good reason, this game was a ton of fun to play when it came out. Though you will see some of the tricks that Disney did in order to make the game longer since games back in the 90s had to be a specific length of in-game play hours in order to be published by Disney. The monkey puzzle is well known for being such a trick that was used in this game. All of the music and sounds you remember from Lion King made their way into this game which is fantastic in a time when many movie adaptations were not true to their origins.
