This is the story of both a young child by the name of Six as well as her dreadful prison - a mysterious vessel known only as the Maw, its sole purpose to feed and consume eternally. One day she suddenly awakens from a strange dream, stranded somewhere in the darkest depths, her thoughts a blurred haze. Despite the severity of her situation, Six, determination to survive gathering within, immediately sets out to find a way back to the surface. However, the journey won't be a simple task - the many inhabitants of the Maw are eager to fest upon fresh meat; to rid themselves of bothersome pests running about. Can Six overcome her primal cravings and save her life, or will she be consumed in the process?
