581Watch the 8 Hours of Bahrain, Live, on Traxion.GG – the opening round of the 2022-23 Le Mans Virtual Series.
40 cars, 24 LMP and 16 GTE, will duke it out for championship points with a $250,000 prize pool on the line.
This season, there will be car manufacturer-backed squads from seven brands: Alpine, AMG, Brabham, BMW, Ferrari, Ford and Porsche entries, with the latter stepping up to the top LMP category for the first time.
This is alongside professional racing esports giants such as Team Redline, R8G Esports, Oracle Red Bull Racing and Williams Esports, plus team representation of real-world FIA WEC teams Floyd Vanwall, Project 1, ARC Bratislava, Prodrive and D’Station Racing.
Following qualifying yesterday, the grid is set for an eight-hour strategic battle.
This is the first round of a season that culminates in the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual in January 2023.
