Final boss was kind of annoying with the Saint Alicia spam. The finale was otherwise very cool. I enjoyed this game and wish there was more experimental games like this in the future. I especially like the multiple different eras in history, and the fact that the game doesn't mind having some really short chapters.

Despite that, some chapters have encounter rates for enemies that I felt were a little too high, short and sweet is how I would describe many portions of the game, and the high encounter rate actively harms the game because of it. A minor issue is that many chapters are more like interactive story books than anything else, but the pacing of the story can be harmed quite a bit if the player does not know where to go.

The battle system is a little odd, you can go from getting stun locked and being forced to heal whenever you get a chance, to a situation where you finish the bosses in a really trivial and quick fashion. An example is the Gynophobia boss.

Overall, it was an interesting and fun experience that I would recommend to someone who wants something a little different.
